Mendavia bearings under test: a guarantee of quality
Having our own test bench for bearings used in sliding doors and windows is uncommon in the aluminium joinery sector. At Anudal, we consider it essential. It allows us to test, improve, and validate every bearing under real-life conditions before it reaches our customers.
What does it mean that Manufacturas Mendavia has its own test bench for its bearings?
At our facilities, we carry out in-house technical tests on Mendavia bearings, simulating their behaviour under real operating conditions. These tests include opening and closing cycles with different loads and environmental conditions. Typically, each bearing undergoes 10,000 cycles (grade H2 according to UNE-EN 13126-15), with variable loads between 50 and 300 kg per sash.
During each cycle, the bearing travels a distance of 1,000 mm ± 10 mm, moving back and forth without impacts or jolts. The test frequency is 250 ± 2 cycles per hour.
After each test, we verify that:
• The bearing has not deformed by more than 2 mm under load.
• The diameter has not varied by more than 5% from the initial value.
• Operation remains smooth and fault-free.
This rigorous process ensures that when a Manufacturas Mendavia bearing reaches the customer, it does so with the reliability demanded by both the present and the future. Having our own test bench is synonymous with quality, commitment, and assurance.
